Isla
Built during the summer of 2021, our luxury cabin is an ideal secluded retreat for couples. Your only close neighbour is its sister cabin Ericht, which is seperated by a privacy earth structure and hedge.
We’re situated in the heart of rural Perthshire, just 2.5 miles south of Blairgowrie. This places us (almost) in the middle of a map of Scotland.
This is an ideal location for you to take off for a day’s exploration then return to the comfort of your cabin.
On our farm, you can meet the largest flock of rare breed Racka sheep in the UK. We also have an established flock of Turkeys to give you a truly rural experience.
The cabin has all the hallmarks of a self-contained apartment. Tastefully furnished, and cosy in winter. The cabin’s arched ceilings provide a superb sense of space for you to feel relaxed in. On top of this, the large panoramic glass windows offer plenty of light.
We provide fresh bed sheets, bath and hand towels. The cabin also has a stylish bathroom with an electric shower, flushing loo, vanity unit, and basin. There’s also a heated towel rail to hand for a cosy towel when you step out of the shower.
The bedroom area has a luxurious king-size bed.
The main living area has a 4 seater sofa to sprawl out on. There’s also a dining area and full kitchen facilities.
In the kitchen, you’ll find a sink, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, and kettle.
There is also wifi and broadband if you really have to keep in touch with the outside world.
There is a flat-screen smart TV with a soundbar which can be viewed from the sofa or from your bed.
Outside, your cabin has access to its own screened electric spa hot tub, giving you privacy to enjoy the views while you soak. There is a fire pit with tree stump seating and a small BBQ if you fancy cooking outdoors.
Isla is south facing, so you can enjoy the Scottish sunshine (which we sadly can’t always guarantee!) at any time of day. Look out across open rolling countryside for uninterrupted views of the Sidlaw Hills. All in your very own private getaway.
The cabin has a range of cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils. Everything could need to help you rustle up that simple or special meal in the kitchen. If you prefer alfresco then you could always use the barbecue for a relaxing outdoor meal.
Blairgowrie and the surrounding area also offer plenty of excellent restaurants and takeaways. We’re happy to recommend some of our favourites if you need some advice.
You can drive right up to your cabin and it has ample car parking space in your own drive. We live on-site so are generally nearby if you need us.
