OUR CABINS

Three cabins, three characters, one smallholding. Isla came first in 2021, Ericht followed a year later, and Clunie joined the family in 2025. Guests tell us again and again how well the layout works. We worked hard to get it right.

All three share an arched ceiling that gives you more space than you’d expect. Add a private outdoor hot tub and a proper kitchen with a coffee machine and cafetiere. Each cabin has a super comfy bed that guests always rave about. Then there’s the view; you can sit in front of it for hours. Order afternoon tea ahead of your stay if you fancy it, and it’ll be freshly boxed up and waiting when you arrive. 

This is not glamping. Not a hotel stay. Something in between that’s better than both.

The cabins are for couples only. So many animals already live on the smallholding that we can’t take pets too. 

Although the cabins are next to each other, they are well spaced. You’re never looking straight into somebody else’s hot tub. Beyond the fence line you’ve got the neighbours: our flock of sheep, three pigs and a gang of turkeys. They all seem to know when new guests have arrived. Nobody’s ever complained about them. We only ever hear about them in our five star reviews.

Picking between the three comes down to taste more than anything else. Isla is the original and still a firm favourite. Ericht has the edge for guests who want a touch more storage and a slightly different feel inside. Clunie is the newest, with an interior designer’s stamp all over it and a solar powered hot tub.
